How to effectively manage stress at work?

Training of stress management at work is addressed to people who want to better cope in stressful situations at work. The training participants will learn what stress really is, how to identify it and how to effectively deal with it, in order to avoid its harmful consequences. The training also provides practical tips on how to manage stress and to turn it into a driving force.

This training is planned towards the individual development of people exposed to stress. It covers topics related to the prevention of so-called burn-out, caused by excessive stress.

The result of the training

After the training, participants are able to:

  • identify what factors contribute to the emergence of stress and how you can effectively manage it,
  • react properly to stressful situations,
  • use techniques to reduce tension and stress,
  • ability to deal with stressful situations at a given workplace, including organizational structures of the company,
  • to communicate effectively to the environment and informing that particular situations are a source of stress.

The aim of the training is to prepare participants to manage their own stress. People in managerial positions will learn how to identify stress, including in others. The main goal of the training is the ability to master situations in which stress is a negative factor affecting the hampering of work culture and the well-being of employees.

The training of stress management at work is addressed to people who, due to the nature of their work and position, are exposed to stressful situations, as well as people who want to master stress management techniques at work.

The training is conducted in an interactive manner. We present the theoretical issues necessary to understand the problem of working with stress. The next step is discussions with the group, discussing specific cases, as well as exercises carried out in writing. Participants are also invited to the case study, analyzing individual cases and drawing conclusions.

After completing the training, each participant receives the “Successful stress management” certificate.

    Date and locations

    VCA Talen provides a suitable location in Rijswijk or Nijmegen, where the training takes place. On the day of the course, coffee, tea, soft beverages and a rich lunch are served. For groups it is also possible to conduct on-site training at the customer’s premises on request.

    Number of participants: minimum 6, maximum 10 people.

    Training duration: 2-3 days.
